1st Meeting: Tuesday, February 6, 2007.
The meeting took place right after the end of the first class.
General brainstorming about the ideas and the name of the Production Company

2nd Meeting: Thursday, February 8, 2007.
We decided on the two subjects that are to be pitched.
And decided to meet on the 13th and each person to bring ideas about the following in writing:

Program title (each for its assigned Doc)
Format of the documentary/piece (observational/campaign/investigative/etc)
A breakdown of your assigned topic (What areas is the piece going to cover)
One paragraph describing the content of the piece. (What type of interviews, what will be the main message, what will be the mood, what is the call to action message if any, what is angle (political or not) that the piece will be taking, etc)
What is interesting and original about the idea that you are proposing
What is the Narrative aspect of the piece (Beginning, Middle and End)
Who is the Target Audience (Age, geo location, interests, what are they watching/reading/listening/etc, education level)
Say how your idea will be made feasible
How is it going to look like (Feel free to bring examples) and any ideas on camera style/Audio
Any production ideas (who we will be interviewing, what other type of shoots we can do if any, what kind of B-roll material we can use, etc)

3rd. Tuesday, February 13, 2007.
Every person brought in their ideas and we discussed the two projects in depth in terms. More information on this to follow...

4th. Sunday, February 18, 2007.
Place: Michael's place.
Time: 3pm
Goals:

The two groups by this date should each take the notes and feedback from the discussion and put together one complete list with the points that are to be presented in class for week 3. This is to finalise and polish up the presentation for the content and production of the Docs.
Each group should put together a synopsis of 150-200 words
Screening of Documentaries
Discuss the visualization of the two Docs

5th Meeting - Tuesday Feb. 27
Place: Student Union

Brief meeting to schedule the program for the week.
Assigned researched topics to each individual (Content/Shoot Locations)
Went over production days:
- Friday shooting b-roll material for school and ethnic places.
- Saturday Interviews and related b-roll material, plus screening of material shot.
- Sunday, football match shoot.

6th Meeting - Thursday, March 1
- 9:45am Meeting outside the library.
- 10am - noon Final Cut Pro workshop
- During the break from Myriam's class, meet at Roddy's office to go over last
weekend's shoots.

7th Meeting - Friday, March 2
Place: Trent Park - 10:30am

- Christina and Michael to pick up equipment
- Meet Roddy to go over lights.
- Everybody to meet at Michael's house for shoot of b-roll
(kids playing, interacting with parents/grandparents/re-shoot mailbox shot).
- Go over storyboards, floor plans, production roles.

8th Meeting - Saturday, March 3
Place: Michael's House - 1:30pm

- Go over research material and interview questions.
- Set up lights and camera at 2:45pm
- Shoot interviews with Andrea and Ellis 3pm - 4pm

The following did not take place and need to be rescheduled because of bad weather and Ellis had to live early:
- Shoot B-roll material (kids playing together) 4pm - 5pm

9th Meeting - 6th Sunday, March 4
Place: Christina's house - 2pm

- Set up lights and camera 2pm to 3pm
- Shoot interview with Natasa and George 3pm - 4pm

10th Meeting - March 6, Editing.
-Michael and Christina went over the Final Cut software and started digitizing b-roll material

11th Meeting - March 9
- Extrnal shoots in downtown London

12th Meeting - March 10
- Interview of Daniella

13th Meeting - March 12
- Edditing/Digitization of Material up to date

14th Meeting - March 16
- External shoots (Ethnic / football b-roll)

15th Meeting - March 17
- Levi Interview

16th Meeting - March 19
- Digitized Levi’s interview and went over the material of all interviews with the entire group. Discussed material and planned out how we would devide the documentary into various sections based on the answers of children.
